Drivetrain

All trim levels of this truck come standard with 2-wheel drive (4x2), which is usually most optimal for towing. The available 4-wheel drive (4x4) system improves traction control, so it’s good for anyone who does any off-roading or driving on snowy roadways. However, it can add extra weight to your vehicle, so 4x4 trucks may not be able to tow as much as 4x2 trucks.

Cab and Bed Configurations

The Ford F-150 gives you a choice between a 5-foot, 6-inch bed, a 6-foot, 6-inch bed, and an 8-foot bed. It also lets you choose between three cab styles: Regular Cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew®.
