Power is the name of the game, and F-250 engines have plenty of it. All engines are 8-cylinder. The standard is a 6.2 liter gas-powered V-8 making 385 horsepower and 430 lbs/tq. Next is a 7.3 gas-powered V-8 with 430 horsepower and 475 lbs/tq. The king of the hill is the Power Stroke 6.7-liter turbo-diesel, boasting 475 horses and a walloping 1,050 lbs/tq.
The F-250 is no stranger to options. There are six trim levels: the XL, with a starting price of $35,200, the XLT, the King Ranch, the Platinum, and the Limited. Three cab configurations are available: standard, super, and crew, and two box configurations are available: 6 3/4 feet and 8 feet. There are also two rear wheel options: single rear-wheel drive and dual rear-wheel drive for higher towing capacities.
The F-250 arrives with some mighty towing and payload capacities. It tows 15,200 pounds when paired with the turbo-diesel Power Stroke engine and has a payload capacity of 10,800 pounds. If you need more, just add 5th-wheel gooseneck towing for a capacity of 22,800 pounds, enough to tow a couple of bush elephants.
Smart Tech and Safety
The F-250 has the latest technology with a 12-inch touchscreen featuring the all-new SYNC4 system with wireless software updates. This new system has available enhanced voice recognition and cloud-based connectivity for comprehensive search results. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available, giving you a completely personalized driving experience.
When it comes to safety, the F-250's Ford Co-Pilot360 technology features a host of driver-assist aids, including pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and a blind-spot information system with trailer coverage. Pro trailer backup assist helps you back up a trailer in the direction you want the trailer to move.
The numerous compartments and trays inside make it easy to store items. The super cab and crew cab have a rear flat-load floor, making loading large items easy. The super cab's rear-hinged doors open wide for effortless loading of oversized cargo. The crew cab has an available lockable under-seat box to store valuables securely.
Power and versatility work hand in hand in the 2022 Ford F-250. It's the super-duty pickup that's ready to work with you on the most challenging jobs. If you're in the greater Cleveland area contact Ken Ganley Ford Parma today for a test drive.
