At Ken Ganley Ford Parma, we know that our customers want comprehensive knowledge before buying a car. If you are shopping for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport, you are in the right place. Here you will find helpful information about the various trim options and the features they provide.

What Is the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport?

The Ford Bronco Sport is a small SUV that's ready for off-road adventures. While it may be called small, this sporty vehicle has many impressive features. It can provide you with the comfort you need while giving you the power and control you want. The Bronco Sport is a great option for drivers in Parma or Cleveland who need an adventurous vehicle without the size of a larger SUV.

Thanks to the 2026 model year, Ford has continued to enhance the Bronco Sport line. The trims now offer everything from basic comfort to the biggest power boost of the line.

2026 Ford Bronco Sport Trim Options

The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport has four trim options:

  • Big Bend
  • Heritage
  • Outer Banks
  • Badlands

Each of these trims offers a slight variation on the previous one, with features and capability increasing as you move up the lineup. Read on to find out more about the differences between each of the trims.

Big Bend

Big Bend is the perfect introduction to the 2026 Bronco Sport. It has some great features that will get you started in the world of Ford Broncos. Powering this vehicle is a 1.5L EcoBoost three-cylinder engine producing 181 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Big Bend also comes with standard AWD. While it may seem surprising for a small SUV, the Bronco Sport provides the power and capability you need to get through almost any terrain. Ford has made a few upgrades to its famed GOAT Modes, now offering Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand options.

Inside, you'll find an 8-inch SYNC 4 screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, including Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Exterior features include 17-inch wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, and standard AWD.

For 2026, Big Bend also offers the widest range of options of any trim in the lineup, including a Black Diamond Off-Road Package for those who want serious trail capability at an accessible price.

Heritage

While the Heritage shares the same mechanical features as the Big Bend, it takes a slightly different turn with its exterior design. The Heritage is a great option if you want to feel the Bronco spirit without spending more on the Outer Banks or Badlands trims. It comes in a variety of colors and styles, alongside the same standard 1.5L EcoBoost engine and standard all-wheel drive found on the Big Bend. Inside the Heritage, you'll also find plaid stitching as a nod to the original Bronco.

On the outside, you'll find unique exterior badging to go with the plaid interior. The overall look and feel gives you the retro experience that only the Bronco can provide. The Heritage delivers the core capability of the Big Bend, but with a distinctive exterior and upgraded interior style.

Outer Banks

If you're the type of driver who wants a more upscale vehicle but still wants the Bronco experience, the Outer Banks is the one for you. It keeps the exterior design and power of the Big Bend but adds features typically found in more premium vehicles.

Upgrades on the Outer Banks include the same 8-inch infotainment screen, now paired with a color cluster instrument display and leather seats. Other upgrades include remote start, a power liftgate, 18-inch machined aluminum wheels, and additional exterior styling features, along with an upgraded audio system. You can also choose an available Sasquatch Package that gives you a more aggressive off-road look and added capability.

The Outer Banks is a great option for northeast Ohio drivers who want a daily driver that will also get them through adventures around Cuyahoga Valley National Park. With its leather seats and everyday conveniences, you get an upscale SUV experience without an upscale SUV price tag.

Badlands

If you want the ultimate off-road experience, the Badlands is the one for you. It's the only trim with upgraded hardware and the most capable terrain management system in the lineup. The Badlands steps up from the 1.5L EcoBoost engine found in the other trims to a 2.0L EcoBoost engine producing 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque, paired with an upgraded four-wheel drive system. This system uses a twin-clutch rear drive unit, giving the driver more control and power on any terrain. Other features of the Badlands include Trail Turn Assist, 8.8 inches of ground clearance, and heavy-duty bash plates.

While the Big Bend provides a great balance of power, comfort, and price, some drivers want a little more capability on the trails. The Badlands also comes with the largest towing package in the lineup, the Class II Trailer Tow Package, for those who plan on using their Bronco Sport for more than just recreation.
