Ford EcoSport Trim Levels

Choosing the right trim level is the key to finding the right Ford SUV. That’s why we love that the EcoSport gives you four different trims to choose from. These are:

• S
• SE
• SES
• Titanium

S Trim

The S trim of the Ford EcoSport comes with all the standard features, like the 123-horsepower 1.0L EcoBoost® I-3 engine with front-wheel drive (FWD). It also comes standard with the SYNC® infotainment system with a 4.2-inch LCD screen in the center stack.

Ford EcoSport SE

When you upgrade to the SE trim, you get more features, like the Reverse Sensing System, heated front seats, and the SYNC® 3 system with an 8-inch touchscreen display. This system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

SES Trim of the EcoSport

Then, with the SES trim, we’re looking at even more engine power. While it’s available on other trim levels, the 166-horsepower 2.0L I-4 engine with Intelligent 4-wheel drive (4WD) comes standard with the SES trim. It also adds in more Ford Co-Pilot360™ technologies, like the BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System).

Titanium Trim Level

When you upgrade to the Titanium trim, you’re getting all the bells and whistles, including a heated steering wheel, the 675-watt B&O™ Sound System, and a chrome grille.

Ford EcoSport MPG

As a subcompact SUV, the Ford EcoSport is relatively small. In fact, it sits on a similar wheelbase to a compact Ford sedan. So, it’s able to get a capable fuel efficiency. Its exact EPA-estimated specs will vary based on your engine, as you can see below:

• 1.0L EcoBoost® I-3 engine: 27 city/29 highway MPG
• 2.0L I-4 engine: 23 city/29 highway MPG

It’s important to note, too, that the 1.0L engine only comes with FWD, while the 2.0L engine only comes with 4WD. However, many Ohio drivers prefer the 4WD system, despite its slightly lower fuel efficiency, because it can actively adapt to your roadway conditions to improve overall traction control in the rain, snow, dirt, and more.

Ford EcoSport Towing Capacity

With the Ford EcoSport, you’ll have the ability to tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped. That’s enough to tow a pop-up trailer, dirt bike, or even a jet ski.  You get this kind of capability with the 2.0L engine. With the 1.0L engine, you’re able to tow up to 1,400 pounds when properly equipped.

No matter which engine you’re using to tow, you’ll want to make sure that your SUV is outfitted with the Class I Trailer Tow Package. This towing equipment isn’t factory installed and will instead need to be purchased as an accessory through your dealership’s parts center.
