Ford Explorer
The Explorer is where a lot of growing families land.
Three rows make life easier, even if you do not use the third row every single day. It is there for friends, grandparents, cousins, carpool days, and those times when nobody wants to squeeze into the second row with a backpack under their feet.
For Cleveland-area families, the Explorer has the right mix of space and drivability. It is large enough to feel like a real family SUV, but it does not feel as big as an Expedition.
