With impressively practical features and a bold and assertive presence on the road, the 2023 Ford Edge is designed to make you look good and your life look easy. This two-row compact SUV comes in five available trim levels, so read on to find out which one fits best with your lifestyle.
Trim Levels of the 2023 Ford Edge
1. SE
Like the SEL, the ST-Line, and the Titanium models, the SE features a turbocharged direct-injection 2.0l four-cylinder engine, giving 250hp and 280lb-ft of torque. It achieves 29mpg on the highway, is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and comes with intelligent AWD on all models.
And while it might be the base model, the SE has a range of luxurious features as standard. The four-way manually-adjustable driver's seat and dual zone automatic climate control mean that you'll always have a comfortable ride, while the 40/60 split on the rear seats makes cargo storage even easier.
2. SEL
Among the upgrades that come as standard on the SEL are a nine-speaker stereo system, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, ten-way power driver's seat and four-way power passenger seat. It's also possible to select inbuilt navigation and a 110V AC outlet.
3. ST-Line
With exclusive badging and LED signature headlamps and lighting, the ST-Line is designed to look sporty, suave, and sleek. Accented floor mats, red stitching on the steering wheel, 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, and a metallic pedal all add to its distinctively edgy look. You'll also get the AC power outlet and power liftgate as standard on this model.
4. Titanium
For a more deluxe model, choose the Titanium for premium features such as rain-sensing wipers, the 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with subwoofer, and ambient lighting. You'll also get a six-way power front passenger seat and heated steering wheel as standard.
5. ST
The sportiest Edge in the lineup, the ST is the only trim to come fitted with the 2.7l Ecoboost V6 powertrain coupled with 7-speed automatic transmission. Manufactured with aluminum heads and a light graphite engine block for a tougher but lighter build, it gives 335hp, 380lb-ft of torque, and a seriously satisfying driving experience. Race-inspired transmission gives extra sensitivity to gear shifts, while the 20-inch wheels and finely-tuned suspension make for a ride to remember.
2023 also sees the introduction of the ST interior appearance package, with Racing Red and Raptor blue stitching on the leather seats, leather-trimmed steering wheel, door inserts, floor mats, and center console lid.
